Young lion becomes Johnstone's official trophy tot

A handsome young lion is the pride of Millwall FC after winning a Johnstone’s Paint Trophy competition to be crowned as the cutest young fan in the competition. Young Harry Eveson has been voted as the competition’s official Trophy Tot for the 2009/10 season, beating hundreds of other little dribblers to the award.

The trophy has been asking supporters to help create a ‘young and hungry’ fan base by launching an appeal to find its official ‘Trophy Tot’ for the year, and Harry won after receiving hundreds of votes.

He will receive a £50 voucher for the Millwall clubshop and a Johnstone’s Paint Trophy goody bag, filled with Johnstone’s Paint Trophy memorabilia.

The trophy tot competition was created in an attempt to find some of the nation’s cutest and youngest football fans, in a light hearted effort to engage with clubs in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy up and down the country.

It also coincided with the launch of the trophy’s new enhanced website, which has been redesigned to engage with more football fans than ever.

Johnstone’s Paint Trophy sponsorship manager Teresa Hardwick said: “After we whittled all the entries down to a shortlist of eight, Harry soon received scores of votes thanks to his picture in scarf and flag.

“Harry looks an absolute picture, and appears to be a very big supporter, despite his age!

Harry’s mother Kate said: “We are so pleased that Harry won the Trophy Tot competition. It is lovely to get him in his Millwall gear nice and early, and we will all remember a prize like this.

“He is a third generation fan too. Both sets of his grandparents, all his aunts and uncles and of course his parents are all Millwall fans!”

Johnstone’s. Bringing colour to the beautiful game.
