The Johnstone's Paint Trophy

The Trophy is coming to Bradford

The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy is on its way to Valley Parade – and all Bradford City fans are being urged to catch a glimpse and have their picture taken with it.

December 2009

The famous piece of silverware will be on show at the Bradford City club shop on Saturday December 12 before the Bantams’ local league derby with Rotherham.

It will take pride of place in the club shop from 1pm to 3pm, allowing supporters to appreciate the trophy that their club will be fighting for when they play Carlisle United on Tuesday December 15.

Johnstone’s Paint Trophy’s sponsorship manager Teresa Hardwick said: “We want to drum up as much interest in the trophy as possible with Bradford City fans.

“They have not been able to boast a good run in the competition before, so we want to rally the supporters and get them in the spirit as they prepare for their trip to Carlisle.

“With just three games separating Bradford City from a trip to Wembley, it really is an exciting stage of the competition and we hope everyone will embrace the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy on Saturday December 12.”

Johnstone’s will also be giving away other goodies on the day along with offering fans a 25 per cent discount at their Bradford decorating centres.
