Rotherham United FC fans will have extra reason to be cheerful when the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy makes a surprise visit to the club shop at Mangham House
The famous piece of silverware will be on display at the club shop on 12th February 2009 from 12.30pm to 2.30pm for supporters to savour, as excitement builds over their side’s second leg area final, and a possible trip to Wembley.

There will be an opportunity for fans to bring along their cameras and take photos. Plus there will be a free prize draw to win one of 5 pairs of tickets for the side’s all-important area final home leg, as the clubs start to dream of a trip to Wembley for the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Final.
As an extra bonus, Johnstone’s are offering fans that attend the trophy tour a 20 per cent discount voucher that can be redeemed at their local Johnstone's Leyland Decorating Centre until the 30th June 2009*.
Johnstone’s sponsorship manager Sally Binns said: “Everyone at Johnstone’s is really excited about the forthcoming second leg.
“This is when the competition really comes alive so, to commemorate this stage, Johnstone’s giving fans the chance to see the trophy, score some discount and meet some first team players.”
The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy is regarded as one of the most beautiful pieces of silverware in the domestic English game.
The 28 inch trophy was created by Links of London, one of the UK’s leading jewellery and gift designers. Standing on a mahogany plinth, it is made of silver plate and will be handed over to one of the four teams who now remain in the competition at the Johnstone’s Paint trophy Final on the 5th April 2009.
