With this in mind the trophy itself will be on display at both the Stockport and Morecambe Johnstone’s Leyland Decorating Centres. It will also be putting in an appearance at Grimsby Town FC.

The ‘trophy tour’ opens up an opportunity for fans to have their photo taken lifting the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy at Blundell Park and also at the stores based on Wellington Road South in Stockport, and on Lancaster Road, Torrisholme in Morecambe.

To begin the tour, Grimsby Town will play host to the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy on Thursday 3rd January 2008. To mark the occasion the club is inviting fans to take part in a Christmas competition to win a meet and greet session with the players and have a chance to lift the prestigious trophy.

At 12 noon, on the 3rd January, the Mariners will open the gates to 20 lucky supporters. To be in with a chance of winning one of these privileged spots just answer this question:

In Stockport the trophy will be on display on Friday 4th January 2008 from 10am until 2pm with the first team players making an appearance between 1.30pm – 2.00pm.

Morecambe fans can meet with the members of the first team squad from 1.30pm on Tuesday 8th January 2008 and have pictures with the trophy from 11am until 3pm.
